The Suslence Research Young Professionals Program (YPP), in partnership between Zakir Hussain College of Engineering & Technology (ZHCET), Aligarh Muslim University andSuslence Research, successfully concluded its first ever virtual one month (1st July to 31st July, 2020 ) internship program in the midst of pandemic for the young students.
The first generation of the Young Professional Program – counting 50+ interns received their digitalized certificates through a virtual interaction with all the speakers from ONGC, Shell, Honeywell, Aramco, SABIC, Tasnee, WSP, Qatar Petroleum, CNPC, Petrofac, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, Amazon, EESL – Ministry of Power, Yara Fertilizers, Suslence Research etc.
“Internships not only provides our students with opportunities to advance their applied education, but is of great value for them to bridge the GAP between academia and industry,” said Dr. Anna Khan, CEO of Suslence Research. Firstly, through YPP the interns acquires important transferable skills and install a Growth Mindset for future challenges! Secondly, an internship makes it easier for them to navigate the required job attributes & skills and get off to a good start in their career, what Suslence is trying to do in this pandemic is to bring the industry closer to the students as under these testing covid times the students couldn’t reach the industry.
