AN INITIATIVE TO SHAPE THE UPCOMING TALENT

February 14, 2022

In the year 2019, Suslence Research came up with an initiative:

      Suslence Young Professionals Program

 Why did we do it?

The 1st wave of Covid-19 led to a major job crunch due to which young professionals were finding it hard to get internships and jobs. Besides this, the pandemic had hit them and their families financially, physically & emotionally resulting in major stress amongst them.

What was our solution?

Looking at the situation and worries of young professionals facing a job crunch, we took the initiative of conducting a 1-month industry intensive internship cum-training-program to prepare them for the challenges ahead.

Our Approach?

1-           We invited colleges/universities to get their young graduates aka the future young professionals on board.

2-           We then collaborated with around 20+ industry experts hailing from MNCs like Mckinsey & Co, Saudi Aramco, Sabic, Amazon, Deloitte, Honeywell, KPMG. Who trained these recruits on various skills.

What was the Goal?

We aimed at helping these young professionals in developing the skills that corporates look for, making it easy for them to land the job they desire.

It is observed that there has been an increasing problem of skill-gap among young professionals, which is making it difficult for them to grab the opportunity of their liking.

During the YPP, our industry experts came together with their customized real-time projects to give the young professionals an industry-level exposure, working on which they were able to build the core skills that corporates are looking for in potential candidates.

The Skills were: Teamwork & Collaboration, Problem-solving & Decision-Making, Communication, etc, along with Mentorship services wherein the participants were offered comprehensive assessments, based on which our mentors helped them shape their careers.

Although our YPP was a huge success, training 100+ young graduates and leaving an impact on the participants and stakeholders, the problem of employability among young graduates sought our attention to take the initiative at a different level, which led us to dig deeper and solve the problem at its roots.

This led to the launch of our flagship – Certified Employability Professionals + Mentorship program.

Our internship program is backed by extensive research on the WEF report on employability status, other corporate-level surveys. Besides this to understand the problem more closely we interviewed hiring managers and other industry professionals at the top to help us understand “what do they look for in a candidate”?

Our conclusion and solution to the problem were – 7 Key Skills, in easy words ‘the holy grail of employability’

What makes us unique?

We believe in applied knowledge rather than a theoretical one.

And we achieve this by helping young professionals build the 7-key skills by engaging them in live projects.

The uniqueness of our program is that the participants won’t just listen and learn but rather –

                                Do, Adopt & Adapt.

The 7-skills learning comes with able guidance from our Mentors, who have years of experience in their respective fields.

Our offering aims at leaving no loopholes and adding value to our stakeholders.

We invite corporates, universities to join us in shaping the future of our talent by investing in them today.

Join us in the journey of our CEP + Mentorship and change the future of employability.
